Wisdom here. For me with two boys ages 7 and 8. It was ok to send them down to the muddy salt flats and suction up ghost shrimp to sell. Lemonade stands never entered the picture 😆

There is so much freedom in these words. It feels very Galatians 5 of you, and I love it. Cheers to Kipper, pizza, and looking up.

I am on the other side of all of these experiences with adult children and two young grandchildren, lately feeling guilty for the things I wish I had done or done better. Thank you for this.

Oh man, I can see that in my future! Replaying certain things with regret. But that isn’t the way our children or Jesus see us. I need to remember that! Love you, Tammie.

This is beautifully balanced. I think it will indeed bless her heart one day. She will need the encouragement to look to Jesus in the easy times and hard times. These words will give her fresh strength.

After my son's counseling appointment, he needed an ice cream cone, to make him feel better. I understand, as ice cream is my favorite creature food.

I’m definitely in the “just getting by” camp at the moment with my three month old having had surgery two weeks ago, closing on our first home tomorrow, and moving on Saturday. With a toddler as well. 🤪 Praise the Lord for His great mercy.

I love your letters to your daughter. Any mom that brings snow in so their child can play in it with her drill set and tools is doing something right-how fun!

And any mom that loves Jesus llke you do, despite whether you had a stellar day or not, that’s a very good mama!
