"...how can I pull up something with that kind of potential?" After starting a new flower garden in our front yard three years ago, this is the first spring that a variety of volunteers have been popping up elsewhere, and I'm loving it! I'm finding myself more protective of the volunteers than the original plant! :-)
Oh, me too! I love gardening. But I also love canning and canning and more canning. I can everything. If it is a year that I don't have time for a garden, I buy things to can. Love this so. God bless your garden and you.
This is so, so lovely! Your rhythm and language are wonderful!
Thank you so much Caelyn!
This is so, so beautiful!
"spaghetti every day." I love it, Rachel! Right there with you.... only with flowers :-)
Oh yes! You expressed it so well 🌱 🍅 🌱

What a sweet picture of summers in S Dakota. This poem had me smiling from ear to ear
You are a true gardener at heart😊I can’t bear to thin the little green springing forth either!
LOVE! And being in Ohio the last two years I’ve been able to prove one of your lines so right: tomatoes grow like magic in the Midwest!
I share your need to be in the earth…
