Oh, the sanctifying joy of raising toddlers! I'm a Nana now, still learning that His poem of loving is His beautiful gift, even as we set aside our written poems for a bit. Thank you for this beautiful gift, an expression of Eph. 2:10 to my heart.
I was going to echo what reader Abigail says below....... 'poiema' in Greek translates as 'a made thing.' We are God's made thing, especially apparent in babies for sure.
It reminds me of the idea you can draw from Ephesians 2:10 that we are God’s “workmanship” - the Greek word being poiema. ❤️ God’s poems, all over.
You bring Hilde and Richard to life for your readers!
Rachel, that's so beautiful. Yes, they are both poems. Poems of love and joy and baby magic.
Golden Line: I am the poem, Mom.
The only thing I read this morning that filled me with peace. Blessings!
This was gorgeous ♥️🥹
Oh, thank you Paola! You have always been so encouraging.
Your work is special and helpful; do not get tired of doing good 😘
This is beautiful 😭
This is brilliant and aching.
I love this one
Thank you, friend!
Wow, incredible writing!
I stay at home with my three sons (4 and under), and easily become agitated when I don't have time to write. Your poem writes my experience so well.
Three 4 and under! Holy cow. God bless you.
A fourth is coming in three weeks!

Yes! I feel this deeply. We are his poem first. Then we write poems.
Beautiful! ❤️
